Here's our week in pictures. Linking up with Mary at Homegrown Learners Collage Friday and Weird Unsocialized Homeschoolers.

1~ Noodle continued with the Veritas Press Online Self Paced History Program. He completed all the lessons on The Erie Canal. Now we need to get caught up with TOG so the lessons will be on parallel tracks. He is really enjoying the computer history program.
2 and 3~ For the first time since starting Song School Latin - I found something I didn't like. I was blindsided by it actually! The lesson taught that "Casa" meant house and then it said to build a house out of arts and craft supplies. Of course when I told Noodle that wasn't necessary he said very matter of factly, "The book says I HAVE to do it!!" Thanks, Song School Latin, thanks. That was about a two hour project. As you can see, construction may not be in his future - or at least not roofing.
4~ The only shot I got of Bear this week. Cooking breakfast in his paint splattered sleep pants. He had his usual full week. He has ramped up the AP Biology test practice.
5~ Noodle had several activities this week for our Apologia Astronomy study. This one was vocabulary.
6~ A Sun Wheel. An activity from the Apologia Junior Astronomy Notebooking Journal.
7~ A lapbook activity about colors. Very interesting!
8~- An Abeka math lesson.
I am sorry that it wasn't a very exciting week. We did the usual with language arts - ETC, FLL, CLE and WWE. Noodle did online math games.
The weather has been yucky so we still haven't been able to do our Solar Oven project! Also, I STILL didn't get to Johnny Appleseed and the Apple Pie!!! Next week we are taking the week off for "Spring Break" so hopefully we will be organized and ready to go when we resume school.
Until next time!

Thanks for linking, Mary :-)
I did not know that Apologoia has junior notebooking. I need to investigate that.
Our weather here in GA has been blah, too. I know from living in Dallas for 7 years that the weather out there always is very similar to ours here in ATL.
I know what you mean about needing a break to work on plans! We will be traveling during our "break" so I am feeling quite behind!
Enjoy your weekend!
Have a wonderful week off! We are taking our Spring Break the following week and heading to my parents' house in Florida. I am needing a vacation SO BAD! Talk to you soon!
Nicole
Love ths collage of pictures! I love Song School Latin, the music is so catchy. Enjoy your Spring break!! Thank you for sharing.
Ha! I remember that lesson in Song School Latin. My son was also very adamant about building a house, although I had no desire to do it. I think I sent him off with some Legos to make one.
Sounds like a great week! I love the photos! :-) My younger two children are doing the junior notebooking journal for the Apologia Zoology and are loving it! I think we are going to do the Astronomy next year. It looks great. Have an awesome spring break! I think we're going to take ours at Easter. Many blessings, Lisa
Great week! I would've rather skipped the house building too. lol
Looks like a great week! Love the photo of your son cooking:) I also think the pancakes from yesterday's post sound delicious!
We have been wanting to try a solar oven, I will look forward to reading about yours!
Looks like you guys had a full week. I have never heard of Song School Latin. Will have to find out more about that. We have studied Spanish the past two years and would love to study Latin or Mandarin in the Fall.
Thanks for stopping by. I will have to look into your posts about TOG. It looks very appealing for a wide variety of ages.
Enjoy your spring break--I need to catch up on lesson plans as well! Thanks for your kind comments on my blog.
Sometimes you need a not "very exciting week." :) I hope you enjoy the week off and get caught up!
Looks like a good, productive week even if it wasn't full of *exciting* moments:)
Busy week for you and the kids as always. Enjoy your break:) Thanks for sharing on the NOBH
